Some are new members to our church, others have been members of
Clairmont for over 50 years. Loving, supportive collection of women
with varied backgrounds. We're all at different stages on our personal

COMPASS CLASS
Consider joining Compass, a small group for students
and young adults, formed for the purpose of building relationships,
encouraging one another, learning together, and praying for one
another. Explore faith and experience community through biblical/topical
study and discussion. The group will meet on Mondays from 7:00-8:30

For All:
“Disciplines for the Inner life.” This book has 52 chapters
representing 52 different “disciplines,” to help us learn to pray,
study and grow into Christ filled, Christ led Christians. This book
has changed their lives . Anyone who has ever wondered “How do I
know what God’s will is for my life?”, or anyone who has just wanted
to become closer to the Lord, or has had doubts or faced temptations
they didn’t think they could withstand, as well as had other questions
they didn’t know how to answer will benefit from this study. We
welcome anyone who wants to join and we particularly would like
some more men to come join us.

All who are 55 and over are invited to participate in the Clairmont
Senior Adult Fellowship.

Sunday School: Sunday from 9:45am - 10:40am for all youth.
Thank God It’s Friday (TGIF): Middle school students meet
on Friday nights from 6:30 to 8:30pm for song, skits, games, devotions,
and small groups.
Rope Groups: Middle School & High School
students meet on Wednesday nights from 5:30 (dinner) to 7:30 in
the FLC. This is a small group setting where the youth can discuss
issues with peers and adult leaders.
WOW: Senior High students meet on Sunday nights
from 5:30 to 7:30 in the FLC.
Confirmation Class: Open to all youth 8th grade
and up. The youth learn what it means to be a Christian during the

Events —
- Whitewater Rafting: Rising 9th-graders through high school seniors.
Memorial Day week on the Ocoee River in Tennessee.
- Great Escape: Middle school youth. Summer trip to Lee University
in Cleveland, TN. Week consists of speakers, games, and fun activities.
- Ski Trip: Rising 9th-graders through high school seniors. Skiing
and snowboarding in WV. This retreat is held in the winter (duh).
- Mission Week: For 9th- through 12th-graders. We sacrifice a
week of our summer to serve various ministries around the nation
and world.
- 30-Hour Famine: For all youth. We raise money to help fight
hunger for less fortunate people around the world. This is a time
where we fully depend on God for strength and well being. He is
all we need! We are also educated on less fortunate countries
and raise money to support them.
- Youth Sunday: The third Sunday in May the Youth lead both Worship
Services.
- Also: Movie Nights, Game Nights, Barbeque Boys, Latte Ladies,
Six Flags, Braves Games, Paintball, Super Bowl Party, Karaoke
Nights, New Years Party, Scavenger Hunt, Bigger or Better, and
much much more!

Presbyterian Women is a church wide organization
whose membership is open to all women. Circles try to meet the needs
of the individual - her interests, perspectives, time, commitment,
physical capability, and gifts.
There are various circles, with different meeting
times and locations. We have both day and evening meetings. We invite
you to join us for fun, fellowship, and Bible study, and share in
many worthwhile and fulfilling programs that help others.
Be part of a circle of caring and learn more of God’s
words for your life. Presbyterian Women CIRCLES meet the First Tuesday
or Sunday of each month. If you are not a member of a circle,
JOIN ONE OF THE STUDY GROUPS!

- THE SUNDAY SUPPER CIRCLE meets on the second at 6:00pm
at member homes. Margaret Watkins is Circle Representative. Members

- THE CIRCLE OF GRACE meets at 6:30pm every second Thursday

Our Service to Others
- Clothes Closet -Good clean clothing for men, women, and
children is brought to the church by members, sorted and sent
to various agencies in need in the Atlanta Area.
- Thank Offering, Birthday Offering - Financial support
of national and international mission projects and health ministries
of the Presbyterian Church, U.S.A.
- Church Women United - We join with other church women
in various community and national projects such as migrant ministries,
Least Coin, the postage stamp project, teen pregnancy task force
and many others.
- Very Special Person - These are women church members
who are physically unable to attend meetings and are remembered
by Circles in special ways.
- Mission Haven - Apartments for missionaries on home assignment,
and a clothes closet, located near Columbia Seminary and owned
by the Women of three Synods.
- Missionaries - Each Circle sponsors one of our missionaries,
corresponding with them and remembering them during the year in
various ways.
- Presbyterian Homes - Retirement living and medical care:
Presbyterian Home and McIntosh Retirement Center at Quitman; Presbyterian
Village at Austell. Supported by PW with Santa Claus Express gifts,
Angel Caring Hands, and monetary donations.
- Thornwell Children’s Home - Located in Clinton, South
Carolina. Some circles sponsor a child, remembering them at special
times during the year.
