Our time in Manaus and on the Amazon River was something one is likely to never forget. We took nearly a ton (literally) of supplies to share with the less fortunate people. We painted houses, met phisical needs with our doctors/nurses, and ran a VBS for the children. Not only were we meeting the physical needs of the people - we were taking the Word and Love of our God to them. We shared personally testimonies, studied the Word together, and built relationships with them to demonstrate Christs love. Our youth were full participants in this service - they were hands on leaders and even led the group in morning devotionals, evening personal testimony's, and helped in every aspect of the hands on work. Both Brazillian teens and American teens lives were changed. Glory to God.
