Chancel Choir (Youth - Adult)
The Chancel Choir is open to all singers from middle school age through senior adult. Except for a few weeks in the summertime, they provide special music weekly for our 11am Worship service. In addition, they present two extended works each year with orchestra; the first being presented near Christmas, and the second in the spring. Their music represents a wide variety of styles from traditional anthems and motets to spirituals, gospel, praise, contemporary, and folk. PLEASE NOTE: Prior experience and full-year/every Sunday commitments are NOT required. While the Chancel Choir team works toward artistic presentations of substance and integrity, greater importance is placed on their prayer and fellowship life together, supporting a primary reason for their being called together: to enable the worship God.
