Choristers (grades 2 - 5)
Another wrung up the ladder in church choral training is the Choristers, for children in grades 2 through 5. This group uses what they have learned from previous experiences to become leaders in worship and role models for younger singers. Emphasis is placed on learning about what we do in worship as well as on continued vocal technique, sight-singing, ear training, and musical phrasing. This choir sings in worship about once every six weeks, most often at the 11:00 a.m. service. They also prepare a special program to end the choir season in May.
