Junior Choristers (grades K - 1)
Junior Choristers is the next musical step up for children in grades K and 1. These children are taught using a variety of unique methods such as Kodaly and solfege. In addition to vocal training and learning biblical concepts of worship, this group is introduced to printed music for the first time. Then they can begin to focus on basic note reading and musical terminology. This choir sings in worship about once every eight weeks, most often at the 11:00 a.m. service. They also prepare a special program to end the choir season in May.
