About:
My idea of a perfect day is... early morning run with friends, mid-morning coffee with a good book, afternoon spent outdoors, and a date night with my wife!
The one thing I want to make sure people realize when they come to Clairmont is... you're among friends!
My favorite children's book is... Wayside School is Falling Down
My favorite team is... the Davidson Wildcats. Forever an underdog!
My favorite Bible character is... David
Transforming experience(s)... Jumping out of an airplane has a way of making you consider how firm your beliefs about eternal life are.
My childhood ambition was... To play first base for the Cincinnati Reds
If I could ask God one question it would be... I feel like Job asked good questions and didn't get far on answers.
My favorite movie is... “It’s A Wonderful Life”, "Field of Dreams," or "Rudy"
My favorite snack food is... Anything in the 'snack' aisle of Trader Joe's
My trademark cliche or saying is... “fair enough"
If I had a different job, I would be... a high school teacher
Guests at my fantasy dinner would be... Flannery O'Conner, Eugene Peterson, Jesus, Fyodor Dostoevsky, John Steinbeck - really I'd want all the great storytellers at this one!
Rev. Bobby Hulme-Lippert grew up in Cincinnati, OH. After high school, he attended Davidson College where he majored in history - and most importantly - he met his future wife, Michelle! Bobby earned his Master of Divinity at Fuller Theological Seminary. Following seminary, Bobby spent a year teaching high school English and helped coach the swim team. At the end of the 2008 school year, Bobby and Michelle moved to Decatur, GA. Bobby has been serving (joyfully!) at Clairmont since the summer of 2008.
