Areas of Focus

An Accessible & Community Entrance Fund

To make it easier for some of our oldest members and those with mobility challenges to enter the building ~ and to offer a hospitable waiting space for GLOBE parents ~ we hope to: add a window in the stairwell landing door across from the elevator, electrify the door for push-button access, install an intercom to the office, and schedule the door to be unlocked during high-use times. We also need to repour the concrete by the door and add an accessible sidewalk to nearby parking spaces.

Anticipated cost: $20,000.

New Signage

We want our neighbors to know who we are and how to find their way around our campus. This fund will help us replace the removable-letter sign at Azalea Circle with a bright new sign featuring our updated logo, and update/replace exterior signs with clear directions and instructions.
Anticipated cost: $15,000.

Restoring the Steeple

Our steeple is one of the most visible “faces” of our church to the community. While we made substantial repairs during the renovation, more work is needed to replace wood rot up and down the steeple and fully repaint it so it will endure for years to come.
Anticipated cost: $75,000.
Community Mural

We would love to make the porte cochere “pop” with warmth and welcome. We’ve engaged a muralist to paint our logo large and bright on the front of the porte cochere and to create a welcoming mural on the side and in the lobby that will help direct parents to the Children’s Ministry area.
Anticipated cost: $5,000.
